Responsibilities
- Review and analyze all adjustments to guest accounts
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the front office accounting machine
- Post charges to the correct guest folio or master account
- Post room taxes to folios or master accounts
- Ensure all front office and miscellaneous charges and adjustments are posted and balanced
- Balance guest charges, generate required reports, and attach supporting documents to the appropriate reports
- Answer telephone inquiries
- Check guests in and out
- Attend mandatory meetings
- Report unsafe conditions immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, including cross training
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Treat others with respect and foster a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience
- Must pass criminal background check
- May require a valid Driver License with an acceptable driving record
- Experience working with computers and operating keyboards

- Constant standing at the front desk on tile or carpet
- Frequent repetitive motions of stooping, twisting, and crouching

Working Conditions
- Exposure to fumes, chemicals, vibrations, humidity, cold, heat, dust, and noise
- Must adhere to hotel safety standards and procedures
