Night Auditor
Job Description
Overnight hotel operations rely on accurate audits, responsive guest support, and consistent safety checks during night hours.
- Conduct nightly audits of financial activity and confirm accuracy across property management systems (PMS) and reservation records
- Use OPERA or similar platforms to verify and update booking and guest information as needed
- Support front desk operations throughout the night, including check-in and check-out assistance
- Answer phones with proper etiquette, handle reservation inquiries, and maintain up-to-date guest records
- Address guest requests and resolve issues promptly while communicating clearly to improve the stay experience
- Monitor hotel security using CCTV surveillance and complete routine property inspections following safety protocols
- Prepare and maintain shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation for operational transparency
- Collaborate with hotel management and team members to handle guest relations concerns quickly and professionally
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Working knowledge of property management systems (PMS), including OPERA (or similar systems)
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and client communication abilities
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly desirable for supporting a diverse guest base
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and night audit processes
- Ability to solve problems calmly and efficiently during customer service challenges
- Preferred: experience in resort environments or properties with extensive guest relations responsibilities
- Capable of working independently during night shifts while maintaining high hospitality standards
