Job Description

This onsite Night Auditor role at Montrose at Beverly Hills in West Hollywood, CA runs on an overnight shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM), with 2 shifts per week.

You will be the first point of contact for guests during the night, ensuring smooth arrival and departure experiences while supporting safety, service, and revenue operations. The role includes opportunities to develop your skills across front office systems, guest communications, and reservation coordination.

What you’ll do

  • Check guests in, issue room keys, and share information on hotel services and room locations.
  • Collect required identification at check-in in line with local legislative requirements.
  • Answer phones promptly and courteously.
  • Process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns by answering, recording, and handling them according to hotel standards.
  • Record guest preferences in the system.
  • Check guests out, including resolving late or disputed charges and processing transactions accurately.
  • Handle cash and credit card payments using established procedures.
  • Issue, control, and release guest safe-deposit boxes in accordance with hotel procedures.
  • Communicate outstanding guest requests or issues to management for additional monitoring or follow-up.
  • Take appropriate service recovery actions to address guest problems and complaints.
  • Follow hotel safety protocols at all times, and immediately report health and safety incidents, security breaches, concerns, or suspicious behavior to the supervisor or manager on duty.
  • Book requested guest reservations by phone or from within the hotel, and process cancellations, revisions, and information updates as changes occur.
  • Work with other departments and follow hotel procedures to maintain quality service.
  • Perform other assigned duties, which may include guest room tours, concierge services, and special guest requests.

What you bring

  • High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent.
  • Ability to frequently stand behind the desk and in front office areas.
  • Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms.
  • Ability to handle objects, products, and computer equipment.
  • Basic computer skills to operate property management and reservations systems, etc.
  • Passion for people and service, with essential communication skills for guests and employees.
  • Reading and writing abilities used often for completing paperwork and logging issues, complaints, requests, and information updates.
  • Basic math skills used frequently when handling cash or credit.
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, and training abilities are often used.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
