Responsibilities

• Balance paperwork, cash drawer, deposits, reconcile credit cards, and submit batches
• Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to generate daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary
• Perform front desk duties including check-ins and check-outs, room scheduling, room moves, late checkouts, stay-overs, and guest requests
• Respond to guest questions about hotel services and amenities

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or six months to one year of related experience
• Ability to work evening and overnight shifts
• Strong computer skills
• People-person with the ability to interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive way at all times
• Ability to fulfill requests in a timely manner, including challenging ones
• Ability to work well under pressure

Where you’ve been

We’re seeking someone with an Associate’s Degree or six months to one year of related experience, the ability to work evening or overnight shifts, and strong computer skills. Most importantly, you should be a people-person who can engage with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive way at all times, delivering timely resolutions to requests, even when they’re challenging. If you don’t thrive under pressure, this role may not be the right fit.

You’ll juggle front desk duties with hands-on activity, sometimes standing at the desk and other times moving around the property. You should be prepared to stand or sit, and to carry or lift up to 25 pounds, as well as walk, bend, twist, and climb stairs as needed. Flexibility with schedules is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
