Part Time Night Auditor

Responsibilities

• Compile daily restaurant revenue reports by auditing POS tapes and journals to break down revenue, covers, waiter fees, tips disbursed, and settlements by type and cashier.
• Generate audit reports from the front office system, POS, and related software.
• Process corrections and adjustments and address any computer issues that arise during the shift.
• Enter revenue, expenses, and allowances into the front office system to produce daily summaries such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary.
• Reconcile all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain records, and reset systems for the next day of operations.
• Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous hotel experience is preferred.
• Basic math skills with accurate calculations using a 10-key.
• Ability to address guest and colleague concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for supervisors, coworkers, and guests.

Overview

Compensation

• Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
