This Pool Attendant position supports a clean, safe pool environment through attentive service, pool-area safety and readiness, and hands-on upkeep, including laundry and textile-related tasks. The pay range is USD $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.

What you’ll do

Your focus is on ensuring the safety and comfort of guests in the pool area while maintaining a well-kept facility. You will also help enforce pool safety rules and regulations to support guest well-being.

• Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold clothing and other textile items.
• Remove stains using appropriate procedures.
• Complete minor sewing duties as needed.
• Track which items belong to whom.
• Maintain an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits.
• Track maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment.
• Keep the facility clean at all times.
• Anticipate and respond to guests’ questions, concerns, and complaints.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (advantageous).
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferable.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided and ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Personable disposition with a knack for customer service.
• Available for evening shifts and weekends, and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Strong communication skills when interacting with guests and employees.
• Reading abilities used frequently for paperwork and logging issues, complaints, requests, and information updates.
• Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, and training abilities are often used.
• Use standard office equipment and communication tools.
