Job Description
Public Area Attendant at PUBLIC Hotel - West Hollywood delivers guest service excellence by building relationships, offering personalized attention, and anticipating guest needs while maintaining a welcoming, clean environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain clean, organized public spaces that accommodate dynamic activities and guest requests.
- Assist with the execution of special events, activations, and brand-driven experiences.
- Maintain a visible floor presence to engage guests and team members, setting a tone of service excellence.
- Provide light cleanup after guest departures, retrieve items such as umbrellas, and answer guest inquiries as needed.
- Reset furniture displaced by guests to its original arrangement.
- Report guest incidents to management and assist in rapid resolution.
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of luxury or lifestyle hotel food and beverage operations.
- Strong guest-service mindset with professional, decisive issue-resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, dynamic environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to move through all food and beverage venues, including kitchens, bars, dining rooms, and event spaces.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in food and beverage within a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality setting.
