Reservations Agent

Join The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park in El Paso, TX 79901 as a Reservations Agent, supporting guests from first contact through confirmed stay details. In this onsite role, you will respond to telephone, email, and internet inquiries to secure and process reservations while aligning with guest service and sustainability standards.

How you’ll spend your day

• Answer the telephone and greet prospective guests, handling questions, requests, and general inquiries in a friendly, professional manner.
• Respond to email and internet reservation inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Share clear, accurate information on availability, accommodation types, transportation options to and from the hotel, room rates, and hotel amenities.
• Assign reservations based on guest preferences and available inventory, and provide a confirmation number.
• Use the computer reservation system with efficiency codes to input and retrieve reservation data.
• Answer questions related to hotel facilities and services, airline partnerships, local attractions, and directions.
• Communicate deposit and guarantee policies when requested.
• Handle complaints tactfully and work toward resolutions, including arranging alternative accommodations when the hotel is sold out.
• Support hotel and brand-specific marketing programs.
• Follow sustainability guidelines and daily practices.
• Maintain safe work habits by wearing protective safety equipment and following MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.

What you bring

• Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous customer service experience preferred.

Schedule and physical requirements

• Work schedule varies and may include holidays and weekends.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
