Responsibilities

• Deliver superior guest service and foster positive interactions with both guests and team members, staying composed with challenging guests in all business conditions.
• Answer phones, greet patrons, monitor seating availability, and ensure server sections rotate according to the departmental plan.
• Greet guests promptly and, when possible, address them by name to personalize the experience.
• Maintain menu knowledge and communicate any specials to guests as they are seated.
• Own the guest experience by aiming to pleasantly surprise and delight guests.
• Leave guests with positive impressions of the property and build lasting relationships.
• Approach every interaction with a can-do mindset, delivering consistent service to each guest.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and wear black, slip-resistant shoes at all times.
• Assist wait staff and bussers as needed and support side stations and table resets.
• Recognize signs of intoxication and handle according to company and state rules and regulations.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and complete required training within designated time frames.
• Comply with a drug- and alcohol-free workplace policy, including post-offer, for-cause, and post-accident drug testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the menu and specials, able to inform guests as they are seated.
• Consistently wear black, slip-resistant shoes and maintain a clean, professional appearance.
• Ability to recognize an intoxicated guest and respond per company policy and state regulations.
• Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety procedures.
• Complete all required company training within designated time frames.
• Comply with the drug- and alcohol-free workplace policy; subject to post-offer, for-cause, and post-accident drug tests.
