Room Attendant
Job Description
Loews Coral Gables Hotel is hiring a Room Attendant to help keep guest accommodations fresh, clean, and ready for arrival. This onsite role supports an exceptional guest experience by focusing on room and bathroom sanitation, careful restocking, and timely communication of any issues.
What you’ll do
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms according to Loews Hotels’ standards.
- Replace linens and amenities and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Organize cleaning carts and linen closets, keeping supplies properly stocked and used.
- Report lost items, suspicious behavior, and any irregularities to supervisors.
- Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
- Provide guests with accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards while working.
- Deliver friendly, helpful guest interactions that support guest satisfaction.
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemical use and emergency situations.
- Maintain regular attendance in line with established standards.
- Work varying schedules when required to reflect business needs.
- Attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a cleaning role preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment preferred.
- Basic English skills preferred.
- Ability to walk, stand, reach, and bend.
- Ability to repeatedly push, lift, and pull up to 25 lbs throughout the shift.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
