Job Description

This on-site role in Bristol, VA offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families, promote healthy living, and help you plan for the future. In this position, you will lead the Slot Department to ensure guest satisfaction, manage the EGD operations on your shift, and uphold policies and procedures with integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee assigned area and capacity of Electronic Gaming Devices (EGD) operations during the shift.
  • Ensure all personnel are informed of and comply with Federal, State, and internal policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Lead training, development, coaching, and any required discipline within established parameters.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Manage subordinates within the Slot Department.
  • Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the unit.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in line with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Train employees, plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance, reward, and discipline, and address complaints from employees and guests.
  • Maintain regular work practices and adhere to Indiana Gaming Regulations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses and certifications per Federal, State, and Virginia Lottery.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.

Knowledge of

  • Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Hard Rock operations and slot related machinery.
  • Policies and procedures, plus knowledge of and ability to identify various cheating techniques.
  • Games manuals, policies and procedures, and demonstrated ability to coordinate or supervise the work of others.

Ability to

  • Deliver a service level that creates an atmosphere encouraging guests to return and provides a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
  • Present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality while maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Work on the slot floor amid varying crowds and noise based on guest volume.
  • Observe and direct actions of subordinates and trainees.
  • Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Speak effectively before groups of guests and team members.
  • Apply common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
  • Address problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Work with computers and handle large amounts of cash.

Pay Range

Salary: USD 45,600 - 59,300 per year

Non-Essential Job Functions

  • Attend seminars when needed.
