Baker

The Riverside Hotel in Boise is seeking a part-time Baker to produce baked items in line with established recipes and quality standards while upholding food safety and supporting kitchen operations during the early morning shift.

Responsibilities

• Produce baked items according to established recipes, quality standards, and preparation checklists.
• Prepare baking ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing prior to use.
• Operate baking tools, measuring equipment, and appliances safely and appropriately to create baked foods.
• Adhere to food safety policies and procedures and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Monitor temperatures of kitchen appliances and prepared foods, reporting any issues to supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, stock levels, and rotation of work areas; perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen environment.
• Team oriented, self-motivated, and energetic approach to work.
• Professional appearance and conduct.
• Proficiency in basic baking techniques and basic knife skills.
• Ability to read and prepare orders as placed.
• Flexible scheduling with hours that vary.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Qualifications
