Banquet Bartender
Job Description
In College Station, Texas, Pyramid Global Hospitality operates the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center, delivering full-service hospitality for events and guests onsite. The Banquet Bartender role centers on setting up banquet spaces and bars, delivering attentive service during functions, and ensuring clean tear-downs at the end of each event, all while creating a welcoming atmosphere for attendees.
Responsibilities
- Set up for functions to include bars, tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and placing centerpieces.
- Primary service is bartending but may also include picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to the function location, serving food and clearing.
- Break down to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming.
- Clean back hall and organize storerooms.
- Perform food and beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and stocking workstations.
- Clean and sanitize tables and counters and seats after guests are finished.
- Provide general property information and offer warm and sincere welcome and farewell for all guests.
- Interact with staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.
- Give guests the best possible experience by going above and beyond.
Requirements
- Bartending knowledge preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to lift 35-50 lbs.
- Pleasant and helpful personality.
- Six months food and beverage experience preferred, not required.

Schedule
The hospitality industry operates around the clock. Candidates must be available for high-demand events such as Texas A&M football game days, Ring Days, graduations, and other busy periods. Part-time hours range from 8 to 29 per week, with days and shifts varying based on forecasted business needs.
Compensation
Rate: USD 13 - 18 per hour. Paid biweekly, with tips contributing to total earnings, averaging roughly 13 to 18 dollars per hour depending on business and tips.
