Job Description
The Breakfast Host position at Best Western Premier Puyallup in Puyallup, WA, onsite, is a part-time role with hourly pay and a focus on delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the continental breakfast operates smoothly and courteously, aligned with company and brand standards, policies, and procedures to provide an exceptional guest experience.
Requirements
- Compliance with health department sanitation and safety standards.
- Strong time management to meet productivity targets.
- Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen while maintaining service and cleanliness standards.
- Adaptability to changing situations and personalities while remaining friendly, professional, and courteous.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow brand, hotel, and health department guidelines.
- Reliable attendance with consistent punctuality.
- Neat, clean appearance per hotel standards and positive representation of the property.
- Develop and sustain constructive working relationships with colleagues over time.
- Willingness to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Prior hospitality or food service experience is preferred.
- Valid Food Handlers Permit required.

Compensation
- Hourly pay range: $18.33 to $20.08 per hour, DOE
Working Conditions
- Position performed in a fast paced customer service setting with frequent interruptions; morning schedule may include weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Medium work: ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly; must be able to move around the breakfast area to stock, clear tables, and communicate verbally.
