Dishwasher

Inn of the Hills Hotel & Conference Center in Kerrville, TX is seeking a friendly, dependable Dishwasher to help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and operating efficiently. This onsite role supports day-to-day food service through washing, sanitizing, and organizing kitchen items, with added assistance during busy periods, events, and banquets.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness at dishwashing stations and ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support culinary staff.
• Support catering events and banquet setups by providing clean serving ware and assisting with setup or breakdown.
• Follow food handling safety standards and comply with health regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth workflow during peak service.
• Keep work areas tidy, sanitized, and stocked with required supplies to uphold cleanliness standards.

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is important.
• Familiarity with food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a hygienic workspace.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous hotel or culinary experience can be beneficial, though it is not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is required.

Compensation and Location

Location: Kerrville, TX (onsite)

Pay: USD 22 - 27 per hour
