Doorman

Grayson Hotel is seeking a Door Attendant to manage entrance activity in the lobby, support guests, and follow established security and fire safety procedures while working onsite in New York, NY.

Role Overview

The door attendant greets clients and employees, directs guests, and maintains safe, secure operations at hotel entrances. This position includes responding appropriately according to fire code regulations and supporting day-to-day guest flow through the lobby area.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and close guest entrances and exits safely.
• Maintain a security-conscious approach for guests.
• Assist guests with luggage and help with opening doors as needed.
• Provide polite, courteous, and respectful service to all guests and visitors.
• Maintain a neat appearance while on duty.
• Be aware of fire code regulations and respond accordingly.

Required Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of the lobby area and the hotel.
• Ability to work effectively with both the public and coworkers.
• Demonstrated hardworking work style.

Compensation

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
