Job Description

Keep the casino looking its best while you support guests and teammates every day. As an EVS Attendant on the swing shift at Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel, you’ll help maintain cleanliness throughout internal areas of the property, including restrooms, common spaces, and offices. This role blends hands-on cleaning with dependable service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

What you’ll do

You’ll maintain a welcoming facility by completing a wide range of cleaning and upkeep tasks across the property. The work includes floor care, venue cleaning, restrooms, and inspections that help keep assigned areas in top condition.

  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting effectively with Casino Hotel guests and Team Members.
  • Clean property floors using methods such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Move or push furniture to clean underneath areas.
  • Clean various venues and outlets throughout the property.
  • Gather and empty wastebaskets and deep clean wastebaskets as needed.
  • Service, clean, restock, and supply property restrooms.
  • Dust slot machines, furniture, walls, and equipment.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using required cleaning supplies and chemicals.
  • Sweep stairwells and clean elevators.
  • Use all cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Report hazardous conditions or broken equipment immediately to a supervisor.
  • Advise management of repairs or supply shortages in assigned areas and maintain overall cleanliness and condition.
  • Follow established safety precautions and adhere to MSDS procedures for cleaning chemicals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • Preference: Qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
  • Education: High School diploma or GED required.
  • Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience helpful.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, guest service mindset, and communication skills.
  • A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required.
  • If a smartphone is not provided by the company, the company may provide one of its choice through a payroll deduction program.
  • All employees must be proficient with smartphone use for company applications, email, and text.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission non-gaming license.

Physical and work environment details

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, and hear.
  • Must regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs, frequently lift or move up to 100 lbs, and occasionally lift or move more than 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to work various hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Requires professional, well-groomed appearance and safe, accurate work at a fast pace.
  • Duties are performed indoors in a climate controlled non-smoking environment.
  • Potential exposure to hazardous materials.
