Food Server -Asian Cuisine
Job Description
Support Asian cuisine dining service by delivering food and beverages, assisting guests, and keeping stations and tables prepared to standard.
- Serve guests food and beverage items based on requests, following established service standards
- Maintain table readiness by ensuring tables are clean and properly set
- Set up serving stations according to the station checklist
- Assist with menu questions by answering food-prep questions and making menu suggestions
- Monitor dining needs by observing guests and responding to additional requests
- Use POS when needed to support order and service tasks
- Handle service equipment including service trays, glass racks, and china trolleys
- Maintain beverage service by handling and supporting soda/liquid beverage dispensers
- Follow standards and procedures in line with department and property guest service expectations
- Meet sanitation requirements by adhering to ServSafe cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Support front-line guest experience through greetings and warm farewells (welcome, eye contact, smiling, describing food offerings)
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience
- Reading and communication: Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words; recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers; print and speak simple sentences
- Basic math: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers; multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; perform these tasks using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Physical demands: Stand regularly; frequently walk and reach with hands and arms
- Lifting: Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Work exposure: Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts; occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, toxic/caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat
- Noise: Usually moderate

Location: Vicksburg, MS (onsite)
Minimum experience: 1 year
Salary: USD 4 per hourly (starting pay $4.25 an hour, based on experience)
