This onsite role focuses on hotel and corporate function events and provides both full and part-time opportunities with weekend shifts. Earn a competitive hourly rate of $16 to $25 and contribute to a dynamic guest experience in a vibrant urban setting.
Responsibilities
- Craft beverages per recipe using standard measuring tools; open and serve wine and champagne as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area, bar unit, tables, and related tools throughout service.
- Set up and stock garnishes, ice, glassware, and paper supplies; transport items to the bar setup area.
- Wash soiled glassware and clear used wares from the bar and tables to the designated area.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to ensure seamless service.
- Process payments using all available methods with accuracy and discretion.
- Count cash at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, submit receipts, and secure funds.
- Lock and secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas after use.
- Complete closing duties and help reset the space for the next shift.
- Follow all safety and security policies; report accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager and participate in safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance; protect confidential information and company assets.
- Greet guests according to standards, anticipate service needs, and express appreciation to guests.
- Communicate with teammates clearly and professionally to support a smooth service flow.
- Build positive working relationships, support the team, and respond appropriately to coworker concerns.
- Uphold quality standards and strive for consistent service delivery.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance; perform overhead and floor-level movements as needed.
- Stand, walk, or remain seated for extended periods during shifts as required by the event schedule.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Weekend availability is required for this onsite downtown Cincinnati role.
- Ability to work full- and part-time schedules during busy hotel and corporate function seasons.
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach for extended periods.
- Professional appearance and conduct, plus a commitment to guest-ready communication and service.
- Willingness to follow safety and security policies and complete required training and certifications.
- Ability to process payments accurately and interact with guests in a courteous, professional manner.
