Hotel Night Auditor

Maintain smooth overnight operations, support guests when they need you most, and keep the hotel’s financial records accurate at Cambria Hotel Columbus Polaris in Columbus, OH (onsite). This full-time or part-time Hotel Night Auditor role blends guest-facing service with nightly transaction auditing, front desk support, and coordination with other teams.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour. Work location: In person.

What you will do

• Conduct nightly audits of hotel transactions, including verifying guest charges and balancing accounts
• Prepare and review daily financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes during late hours, delivering excellent customer service
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage overnight front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and reservation updates
• Monitor guest areas to help ensure hotel security and report any irregularities
• Maintain accurate records of guest information, billing details, and other relevant data
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly
• Uphold phone etiquette standards while managing guest interactions by phone or in person

What you bring

• Prior experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred
• Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel management systems is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle diverse guest relations scenarios
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus
• Experience working in resort or hotel environments will be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and managing multi-line phone systems
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality roles will be beneficial for success
