Hotel Stockroom Receiver

The Hotel Stockroom Receiver will handle the intake, inspection, and processing of all food, beverage, and related products for the Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center in Westlake, Texas. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Accepts and assesses incoming food, beverage, and related goods to verify accuracy and condition.
• Endorses invoices with the appropriate signature and codes them accordingly.
• Records liquor invoices in the perpetual log.
• Flags shortages or discrepancies on invoices and communicates them as needed.
• Confirms deliveries meet defined specifications and quality standards.
• Delivers products to offices, storerooms, and kitchens as required.
• Maintains sanitation standards in the Food and Beverage storage area.

Requirements

• Experience in Purchasing or Food and Beverage is preferred.
• Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record is preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a comfort for engaging with others.

Basic Function

The Purchasing Receiver is responsible for receiving all food, beverage and related products.

Essential Functions

• Receives, inspects and verifies all food, beverage, and related products.
• Signs invoices with proper signature and codes invoices.
• Logs liquor invoices into a perpetual log.
• Communicates shorts on invoices.
• Verifies that food and beverage deliveries meet specifications and quality levels.
• Delivers products to offices, storerooms and kitchens.
• Directly responsible for sanitation in the Food and Beverage storage area.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchasing or Food and Beverage preferred.
• Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.
• Friendly and outgoing personality, comfortable interacting with others.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
