Join the Room Service Team for a full-time, union position at Hotel Ivy in Minneapolis, MN.

Partner with the Room Service Team to support guests and maintain a positive guest experience
Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders according to established guidelines, procedures, and company standards
Complete floor sweeps and retrieve food and beverage trays to support sanitation standards
Set up and deliver VIP amenities
Service hospitality suites in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and established hotel policies and procedures
Finish shift side work as outlined in hotel operating policies and procedures
Address customer needs, issues, comments, and concerns to ensure quality service and support future sales
Report communication to the immediate shift supervisor
Handle cash responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures
Comply with attendance rules and maintain regular availability
Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Hotel experience preferred
Strong communication skills with guests
Ability to grasp, bend, lift, carry, or otherwise move or push goods on a cart weighing up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style for supervisors, coworkers, and the public

Thursday and Friday AM: 7:00am to 3:00pm
Saturday and Sunday PM: 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available, based on union seniority and departmental needs
