Lounge Bartender

At the Southbridge Wellsworth Hotel, the Lounge Bartender position sits at the heart of guest service in the hotel’s lounge area. This onsite role blends precise drink preparation with attentive, courteous service and diligent upkeep of the outlet, ensuring a welcoming and consistent experience for guests. As part of the Shaner Hotels Group, you would join a portfolio of properties recognized for quality hospitality across multiple brands and locations.

Minimum Experience

Two years of experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required

Education

High school graduate or equivalent

Role Summary

The Lounge Bartender takes and fulfills guest orders, prepares and serves beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and handles light meals, all while maintaining a clean and stocked outlet in line with hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders, prepare, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as light meals in a courteous and efficient manner according to hotel specifications.
• Maintain stock, supplies, and cleanliness of the outlet and its equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Adhere to and complete all daily operational procedures established by the Food and Beverage Department.
• Maintain food and beverage safety and quality in accordance with hotel, Shaner, and franchise standards.
• Follow standards and procedures for department operations and safe working conditions.
• Respond to guest-related issues within the department in a professional manner.
• Maintain clear communication with the General Manager, other Department Managers, Supervisors, and staff.
