Spa Manager
Job Description
The Spa Manager leads the spa operations at Hotel ZaZa Dallas, providing strategic leadership, daily administration, and hands-on management to deliver exceptional guest service and drive revenue. This onsite role partners with hotel leadership to cultivate a highly engaged team and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa to ensure exceptional guest experiences and adherence to Hotel ZaZa service standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, safety, and operational excellence throughout the spa.
- Monitor and evaluate guest satisfaction metrics and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally, promptly, and consistently.
- Collaborate with hotel departments to create and enhance guest experiences and support overall property objectives.
- Recruit, interview, train, coach, develop, and retain qualified spa team members in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Prepare and manage associate schedules based on business needs while complying with wage and hour laws and company guidelines.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide ongoing feedback, and address performance concerns in a fair and consistent manner.
- Foster a respectful, professional, inclusive, and harassment-free workplace environment.
- Promote open communication, teamwork, and employee engagement.
- Support the development and achievement of departmental revenue and profitability goals.
- Manage labor costs, payroll administration, inventory controls, retail sales, and operating expenses.
- Analyze financial and operational reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement strategies to increase spa utilization, membership participation, retail sales, and overall profitability.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, wage and hour regulations, health and safety standards, and licensing requirements.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.
- Ensure proper handling of confidential employee, guest, and business information.
- Support workplace safety initiatives and promptly report and address safety concerns, incidents, and injuries.
- Maintain required records and documentation in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of management or supervisory experience in a spa, hospitality, wellness, retail, or luxury service environment.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing schedules, labor costs, budgets, inventory, and operational performance.
- Proficiency with standard business software, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in a guest-focused environment.

Compensation
Pay: USD 65,000 - 70,000 per year

Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the spa and hotel property.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, associates, and vendors in person, via telephone, and through written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
Work Environment
- Primarily operates in a spa and hotel environment.
- May be exposed to cleaning products, spa treatment products, and moderate noise levels common to hospitality operations.
- Schedule may include mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on operational needs.
Work Location
In person at the Dallas, TX onsite property.
