This onsite role supports a welcoming, guest-first atmosphere where you help create memorable arrival experiences. What You’ll Do
As a Guest Services Agent, you will be part of a team that delivers personalized service from the moment guests arrive. You’ll help guests connect with their stay through the hotel’s “Wanderlust” experience while providing attentive, engaging service to every person you meet.
- Welcome guests and assist with luggage and the check-in orientation process.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being engaging and showing sincere interest in guests.
- Interact with all guests, including welcoming arrivals as part of bell person and guest services attendant duties.
- If guests arrive by motor vehicle, open their door as you welcome them to the hotel.
- Escort and orient guests to the front desk for check-in.
- Park and retrieve guests’ vehicles as requested.
- After check-in, escort guests and their luggage to their rooms, explaining amenities and fun facts along the way.
- Work with other attendants to ensure each guest has a personalized experience.
- Support the lobby attendant by helping keep the entrance area clean and organized.
- “Be the difference” by doing more than the standard routine for guests and team members.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year in a customer service role with frequent guest interaction.
- A valid driver’s license with no major infractions for the past 6 months.
- Hospitality industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to solve problems as they arise and adapt in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work effectively with other attendants.
- Pleasant, helpful, outgoing, and engaging personality with excellent verbal communication.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and move back and forth between the valet lot and different areas of the hotel.
- Available for various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation
$23.00 - $23.00 per hour.
Location: New York, NY (onsite). Minimum experience: 1 year.
