Banquet Setup/Breakdown Attendant (Full-Time)

The Banquet Setup/Breakdown Attendant supports the Arizona Biltmore, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, on site in Phoenix, Arizona. The role focuses on cleaning, organizing, and preparing all convention service spaces, along with the breakdown and storage of event equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and dismantle all conference and banquet functions in line with hotel standards and in a timely manner.
• Clean and service all function areas, including vacuuming, dusting, mirror cleaning, rug shampooing, metal polishing, window cleaning, and other detailed room care.
• Maintain knowledge of fire codes and regulations, ensuring exits and fire lanes remain clear.
• Practice clean-as-you-go principles and keep service corridors clean and unobstructed at all times.
• promptly communicate any broken equipment to Supervisors or Managers.
• Commit to reducing the risk of injury for guests and associates and know the correct actions to take in emergencies, acting appropriately when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Certification in Hospitality or Event Management is a plus
• One year of prior work experience, preferred
