We are seeking a Bartender who brings enthusiasm for mixology and a commitment to warm guest service. In this hands on role, you will prepare a diverse array of drinks—from timeless cocktails to contemporary creations—while ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and support beverage sales.
- Operate the Aloha POS system to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized in alignment with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Develop new drink ideas and contribute to the bar menu, staying current with mixology trends and spirits knowledge.
- Monitor inventory levels for alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and bar supplies; communicate restocking needs promptly.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods and events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Adhere to responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast paced restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with fine dining or upscale bar experience.
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, craft beers, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for smooth transaction processing.
- Excellent time management to handle multiple orders during peak hours without compromising quality.
- Previous food service experience such as food handling, serving, cashiering, or banquet service is highly desirable.
- Ability to develop new drink recipes and stay updated on industry trends like mixology innovations and brewing techniques.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive demeanor that fosters guest loyalty.
- Strong basic math skills for cash handling, inventory management, and knowledge of food safety standards.
