Tower 23 Hotel and JRDN Restaurant is seeking a part-time Bellman to help create a confident, guest-first arrival experience in a boutique setting. This onsite role in San Diego, CA centers on welcoming guests, supporting smooth check-in and check-out, and maintaining a clean, safe environment across key public areas.

What you’ll do

• Welcome all guests warmly with a smile and a hospitable welcome
• Assist with luggage handling during check-in/check-out and upon request
• Share helpful information about hotel services, local attractions, and dining options
• Escort guests safely and efficiently through the hotel to rooms and amenities
• Monitor cleanliness in public spaces including restrooms, pool areas, and entrances
• Coordinate with the Front Desk on VIP arrivals and special requests
• Handle deliveries, storage requests, and guest inquiries with care and efficiency
• Uphold hotel safety and service standards at all times
• Cross-train and assist other departments when appropriate, including Valet

What you bring

• Prior hotel, resort, or hospitality experience is preferred
• A calm, professional demeanor under pressure, along with strong guest interaction skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and push/pull carts up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the hotel for extended periods
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; additional language abilities are a plus for communicating with international guests
• Comfort working in a diverse, fast-paced environment
• A valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check for occasional assistance with Valet services
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Competitive pay: $19.00 per hour
