Dual Housekeeping Manager
Job Description
Dual Housekeeping Manager role at Ironworks Hotel-Beloit in Beloit, WI (onsite).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to keep the property in top condition and support maximum room profitability
- Maintain a positive, efficient work environment for the housekeeping team
- Interview, train, and onboard housekeeping applicants and new hires
- Supervise housekeeping staff to support company standards, including attendance tracking, work quality, and attitude & cooperation
- Support the company’s progressive discipline program and maintain organized associate files with Human Resources
- Ensure employee performance appraisals are completed on a timely basis and aligned with company expectations
- Provide recommendations for employment actions, including interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and disciplining as appropriate
- Deliver orientation on department rules, policies, and procedures, and oversee training for new employees
- Schedule labor based on anticipated business activity to ensure positions are staffed as needed and labor cost objectives are met
- Administer prompt, fair, and consistent corrective action for policy, rule, and procedure violations
- Maintain organization and inventory for housekeeping and guest supplies, including minibar operations (ordering, receiving, vendor relations, and monthly inventory for supplies and liquor)
- Read and restock minibars in guest rooms with accuracy; communicate with Front Desk so charges are posted to the correct guests in a timely manner
- Use computer skills to assign daily housekeeping tasks, manage room statuses and out-of-order statuses, and apply working knowledge of the PMS
- Assist with Deep Clean schedules and preventative maintenance programs
- Maintain strong attention to detail
- Complete daily guest room and property inspections to meet or exceed company cleanliness standards
- Maintain a log of lost and found items
- Assign daily tasks for housekeepers and oversee laundry upkeep, guest room and public area checks, minibar reading and restocking, and monthly inventory and supply ordering
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of hospitality experience and/or supervisory experience
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- U.S. Work Authorization (required)

You’ ll Stand Out If You Bring
- College degree preferred
- Two to four years of experience in Front Desk, Guest Services, and/or Housekeeping, including at least two years management experience
- Knowledge of Opera PMS preferred
