Job Description
The Floor Supervisor oversees an assigned casino pit area, helping ensure customer service standards are met while supporting consistent game integrity. The role supervises dealer performance, monitors game activity, and maintains daily floor integrity and cleanliness in an onsite setting in Oxford, ME.

Key Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for a designated pit section and be available to answer questions related to gaming service activities; safeguard company assets and direct dealers on assigned games.
- Oversee dealer performance and monitor game activity; observe assigned games to identify and respond to suspicious or irregular activity.
- Maintain awareness of game status in relation to player limits, special customers, gains/losses, and dealer performance.
- Control and direct games in progress by monitoring play, providing assistance, and correcting dealer activity as needed.
- Change gaming supplies (including cards and dice) when required.
- Ensure dealers in the assigned section comply with all Table Games Department policies and procedures.
- Support high standards of customer courtesy on each game and coordinate with casino staff to maintain service expectations.
- Maintain proper table bank through fills and credits.
- Perform Table Games Department activities in accordance with procedures and in compliance with Systems of Internal Controls and Minimum Internal Control Standards.
- Oversee and report unusual occurrences to the Shift Manager; maintain integrity of daily operations and casino floor cleanliness.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and learn additional games as required by management.
Required Experience
Typically acquired through a minimum of 2 years multi-game dealing experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Sound technical understanding of games manuals, policies, and procedures, including demonstrated knowledge of policies and procedures for supervised games.
- Ability to identify various cheating techniques.
- Completion of a variety of specific games training programs (if offered) and resulting proficiency in multiple pit games.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Comprehensive knowledge of assigned table games and ability to be certified on all table games assigned.
- Must be Title 31 and Problem Gambling certified, with attendance at annual training.
- Knowledge of company and department policies and procedures and Internal Controls.
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and move effectively around the pit to observe play at multiple tables.
- Ability to review and comprehend player data and other necessary documentation and observe guest play.
- Ability to observe games and dealers from a distance (middle of the pit to the table).
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- Prefer a minimum of 2 years dealing experience.
Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities
- Attend required training sessions offered.
- Perform duties in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, and to prevent minors from drinking alcoholic beverages or purchasing tobacco.
- Have knowledge of ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee’s department.
- Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
- Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate level of Management.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force, frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force, and exert negligible force constantly to move objects.
