Housekeeping Supervisor

As a part-time Housekeeping Supervisor with Pyramid Hotel Group at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa in Riverside, California, you will oversee daily cleaning operations, guide a team of staff, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met. This onsite role offers compensation of USD 18 - 20 per hour and emphasizes hands-on leadership in a guest-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests to ensure their experience is smooth and comfortable
• Collaborate with hotel staff to achieve resort and hotel cleanliness goals
• Organize the daily workflow and delegate duties among team members
• Inspect guest rooms to verify adherence to the highest quality standards
• Hold team members accountable for maintaining top cleanliness standards
• Lead and train staff to sustain cleanliness levels
• Assist with linen and supply inventory
• Support the completion of performance evaluations
• Use judgment to assign tasks and allocate rooms to staff
• Coordinate activities with the Front Desk Supervisor and team
• Report maintenance needs as they arise
• Ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals by staff
• Arrange coverage for call-outs or when occupancy increases
• Perform other related duties as requested by Management

Requirements

• Six months' experience in a comparable housekeeping role is preferred
• An engaging and caring personality
• Strong time-management skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Effective communication abilities
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Physical capability to move around rooms, reach corners and high places; ability to maneuver carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces; operate equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads and dusters
• Lift, carry and position loads of at least 25 lbs
