Night Auditor
Job Description
Join The Tillary Hotel Brooklyn onsite in Brooklyn, NY as a Night Auditor responsible for nightly financial close, system reset, and guest service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete nightly audits and balance accounts as part of the bookkeeping process
- Maintain and update records for room availability and guest accounts using manual methods or computers
- Prepare, review, and distribute daily reports
- Audit and reconcile cashier activity
- Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit card transactions in a timely manner
- Enter and update financial information in the BRAINS network
- Check guests in and out and support Guest Service Agent tasks as needed
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and contribute to actions that improve departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Follow safe work habits and use protective safety equipment
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction throughout nightly operations
- Perform additional duties as requested by management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous night audit/accounting experience or equivalent training (required)
- Computer knowledge, including Excel, and strong arithmetic skills (required)
- FSD is a plus; required within 90 days of employment
