Reservationist

At Wilderness Hotel and Resort Inc, the Reservationist is a key point of contact for guests looking to plan their stay. This onsite role in Wisconsin Dells, WI supports day-to-day reservations by phone, helping guests find suitable accommodations and ensuring bookings are accurately entered and updated.

You will handle reservation requests using a computerized reservations system, communicate lodging options and rates through telephone software, and complete payment processing when needed. The position also requires flexibility for night and weekend availability, along with the ability to stay composed while working with guests and colleagues.

What you will do

• Communicate with guests via phone and take hotel reservations
• Develop working knowledge of Wilderness Resort properties, units, policies, and resort amenities
• Use telephone software to communicate with guests and suggest lodging options and rates
• Multi-task across multiple programs and computer screens to support reservation activity
• Prepare, alter, and modify lodging accommodations in the computerized reservations system
• Process credit card transactions related to reservations
• Maintain a calm and pleasant demeanor while communicating with guests and colleagues
• Complete other duties as assigned by management
