Job Description
Live! Casino & Hotel Virginia is seeking a Senior Executive Casino Host to support VIP guests while helping grow revenue and expand market presence from the property in Petersburg, VA. This onsite role combines outbound relationship building with ongoing service for valued players, including responding to concerns in line with established guidelines.
With annual revenue growth expectations, constant communication across multiple channels, and hands-on event support, the Senior Executive Casino Host serves as a primary point of contact for VIPs and works to drive incremental trips, rated play, and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow actual revenues annually, aligned with the property plan and cross-property goals.
- Generate new business and expand the marketing reach.
- Develop and maintain guest loyalty and encourage incremental visitation through personal contact, including telephone contact, on-property hosting, off-property entertaining, telemarketing, direct mail, and email using available services and promotional opportunities.
- Manage constant communications with VIP players via telemarketing, email, and SMS to share available services, promotions, and special events while resolving customer complaints to support retention and repeat visits.
- Service VIP players during special events.
- Monitor local competition and adjust performance accordingly.
- Ensure a high-quality gaming experience by providing personal services and meeting VIP player needs.
- Review VIP activities and promotional status with the Director or Vice President of Relationship Marketing.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to take independent, self-directed responsibility for assigned work.
- Ability to perform duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
- Strong time management skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven success in a venue environment.
- Player Tracking Systems knowledge is a plus.
- Knowledge of all gaming regulations, with the ability to recognize problem gaming signs and address them appropriately.
- Flexible schedule availability including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, plus participation in an on-call rotation program.
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in player development, marketing, sales, and/or gaming.
- Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an alcohol and smoking environment.
- Ability to secure and maintain required licensure per applicable regulatory entity and Live’s operating standards.
Compensation and Location
- Location: Petersburg, VA (onsite)
- Salary: USD 73,003 - 100,694 per year
