Banquet Bartender

Part-time Banquet Bartender role on-site at Sheraton Anchorage Hotel in Anchorage, AK, providing bar service for events and supporting guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with hotel Associates in Food and Beverage and Catering to keep event bar service accurate and aligned with quality standards.
• Set up a portable bar with required items as needed, including garnishes, glasses, ice, liquor for the function, mixes, straws, napkins, and other requested supplies.
• Maintain bar supplies throughout the event to support continuous service.
• Prepare beverages and deliver quality drink service.
• Use a POS system to ring bar purchases for guests’ drinks.

Requirements

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for guests and associates.
• Previous experience in a high-volume bar as a bartender.
• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced situations.
• Availability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to accurately memorize drink ingredients and garnishes for beverage service.
• Enjoy working as part of a team focused on guest experiences.
