Event Room Set Up Attendant

As an Event Room Set Up Attendant, you will support Pyramid Global Hospitality operating at Deloitte University, Benchmark Hospitality property in Westlake, Texas. The role focuses on preparing conference spaces, assembling equipment, and assisting with banquet service to ensure clean, ready ballrooms and meeting rooms for events.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and arrange conference equipment in meeting rooms in accordance with the event order.
• Attend to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Adhere to a strict schedule for refreshes and room turns, demonstrating effective time management.
• Perform daily cleaning of classrooms, ballrooms, and team rooms, removing trash and restocking supplies per cleaning standards.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
• Support the banquet department with meal setup.
• Set up tables, chairs, and other equipment in ballrooms and meeting rooms per event order.
• Monitor rooms to ensure they are clean, vacuumed, and free of trash.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull 70 pounds or more.
• Ability to walk long distances; typical shifts may involve 17,000 to 25,000 steps.
• Housekeeping experience is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail.

Opportunity Details

The basic function of this role is to set up tables, chairs and other equipment in ballrooms and meeting rooms. In addition, the incumbent will monitor and ensure all spaces are clean, vacuumed, and free of trash.
