Food Runner/Busser

At St. Anthony Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Antonio, you will help create a seamless, refined dining experience for every guest. This part-time onsite role supports warm service, polished station readiness, and smooth coordination behind the scenes, all while you work in a team-focused luxury environment.

What you’ll do

• Discreetly clear used tableware and reset tables to match fine dining presentation standards, keeping service items polished and precisely arranged.
• Maintain service stations fully stocked and impeccably organized, including silverware, linens, glassware, and condiments, with a steady eye on what service staff and guests may need next.
• Welcome guests with warmth and poise by offering and replenishing bread service, butter, and beverages, supporting an elegant start and attentive experience throughout the meal.
• Safely and promptly transport soiled serviceware and glassware to the stewarding area to maintain a clean, well-ordered dining environment.
• Support colleagues through proactive, cooperative assistance across the dining operation.
• Complete additional tasks as requested by the Restaurant Manager to help ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

What we’re looking for

• A professional demeanor and excellent communication skills in English.
• A warm, guest-focused approach with the ability to anticipate needs with discretion and grace.
• Knowledge of fine dining table settings, service styles, and etiquette.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and move through a busy dining room with elegance and efficiency.
• Capacity to push service carts up to 150 lbs.
• Well-groomed appearance, impeccable hygiene, and dependability aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
• Strong teamwork, punctuality, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handlers and TABC certification is required; ServSafe Alcohol Awaren and Certified Food Handler are listed.
• Previous experience in a similar position is highly preferred.
• Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
