Front Desk Agent

Emery Hotel, Autograph Collection, located in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking a Front Desk Agent to serve as a key point of contact for guests from arrival to departure. In this onsite role, you will welcome visitors, support day-to-day front desk operations, and help deliver a smooth, well-coordinated guest experience across the hotel.

The Front Desk Agent position includes check-in and check-out support, handling guest questions and payments, coordinating with other departments to fulfill requests, and providing assistance with reservations and general administrative needs.

What you’ll do

• Greet guests and create a positive first impression with a warm, friendly approach.
• Manage check-in and check-out procedures accurately, with strong attention to detail.
• Share information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Answer guest inquiries and address issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Process guest payments and keep complete, accurate payment records.
• Coordinate with other departments to help ensure guest requests are handled seamlessly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk.
• Support administrative tasks, including answering phone calls and handling reservations.

What you bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior cash handling experience (necessary)
• Exceptional communication skills
• Very good computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Knowledge of hotel or resort operations is a plus

Compensation

• USD 19.00–USD 19.00 per hour
