Front Desk Night Audit - Part Time

Hotel Hartness is hiring a part-time Front Desk Night Audit team member for an onsite role in Greenville, SC (3 nights a week). This position supports guests during overnight hours and helps keep nightly financial records accurate through end-of-shift auditing. Shift coverage is currently 11p-7am, Mon-Wed, with the understanding that the schedule may change based on hotel needs.

What you’ll do

• Complete nightly audits of all hotel financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments, using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms.
• Answer and manage multi-line phone systems professionally, providing accurate information and courteous assistance to guests and staff.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while following hotel policies and meeting guest expectations.
• Provide prompt guest inquiry support via phone or in person, using customer service and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
• Monitor security cameras and perform visual inspections of the property to support overnight safety and security.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently and respond swiftly when incidents or safety concerns arise.
• Produce detailed shift reports, including guest requests, incidents, and financial summaries, and maintain accurate records for management review.

What you bring

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Knowledge of hospitality reservation systems and guest relations best practices to enhance guest experiences.
• The ability to handle customer service challenges with professionalism and tact.

Useful experience & tools

• Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations in a hotel environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel management software such as OPERA or other PMS is highly advantageous.
• Experience working in resort settings or with hotel emergency procedures strengthens your fit.
• Prior experience with night audit functions or hotel night shifts is desirable but not mandatory.

Technologies: OPERA, property management systems (PMS), multi-line phone systems.

Location & work style: In person, onsite at Hotel Hartness in Greenville, SC.

Schedule: Part time, 3 nights a week, currently 11p-7am Mon-Wed (may change based on hotel needs).
