Front Desk/Night Auditor

Beauport Hotel Gloucester is seeking a Front Desk/Night Auditor to join the team for the overnight shift at our hotel in Gloucester, MA. This third shift role supports guest service throughout the night and helps keep operations running smoothly through the night audit process and end-of-day reporting.

If you have customer service experience and enjoy working independently while staying accurate and detail-focused, this position centers on guest interactions, front desk tasks, and daily communication with other departments.

Role Overview

• Handle guest check-ins and checkouts during overnight hours
• Respond to guest questions and phone calls
• Prepare reports and complete daily communication with other departments

Requirements

• 1 year of hospitality/guest service experience (required)
• Customer service experience required
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and with full attention to detail
• Comfort level with computers; experience with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems is preferred
• Ability to work with little supervision and proactively problem-solve
• Previous front desk and/or night audit experience highly preferred

Schedule

• Overnight shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am
• Weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed

Working Environment

• Hotel property with 94 guest rooms
• Work primarily in front of house areas, including public spaces such as the lobby and front desk
• Primarily solo work, with group work as needed

Compensation

• USD 21 - 22 per hour
