Responsibilities
- Solicit new and existing corporate accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual room night and revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients
- Conduct regular sales calls, site tours, and client entertainment
- Maintain detailed account records and production history in CI/TY
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Participate in local and national networking events, trade shows, and industry organizations
- Collaborate with revenue management to optimize pricing strategies and inventory controls
- Partner with operations, front office, and event teams to ensure seamless execution of client expectations
- Attend weekly sales meetings and contribute to strategy discussions
- Work closely with the catering and group sales teams to maximize total hotel revenue
- Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and action plans
- Maintain accurate sales activity tracking and pipeline management
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and sales systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred
- 2–5+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably at a full-service property
- Experience with Group Sales
- Strong knowledge of Marriott sales systems (CI/TY, MARSHA) preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
