Housekeeping Supervisor

At Pyramid Hotel Group in Minneapolis, this onsite housekeeping leadership role helps maintain the cleanliness guests expect throughout the property. Serving as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Rand Tower Minneapolis, you will oversee room and public-area standards, support daily team performance, and coordinate the housekeeping workflow from inspection to assignment.

What you’ll do

• Engage with guests to help ensure their stay is going well
• Coordinate the day’s housekeeping workflow, including distributing duties and assigning rooms
• Inspect guest rooms to meet the highest quality cleanliness standards
• Hold department employees accountable to cleanliness and service standards
• Supervise and train staff to maintain consistent housekeeping results
• Assist with inventory checks for linen and supplies
• Assist in completing performance evaluations
• Use judgment and experience to distribute work and manage staffing assignments
• Coordinate activities with the Front Desk Supervisor and other team members
• Report maintenance needs as they arise
• Ensure employees use and handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Support other related duties as requested by Management

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a similar housekeeping position is desirable
• Engaging and caring personality
• Time management skills
• Ability to work on your feet for an extended period
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions
• Ability to move, traverse, and position yourself to reach corners on floors and high places; observe conditions and detect odors
• Ability to position and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs in tight spaces
• Ability to operate equipment including spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters
• Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs

Compensation and location

This role is based onsite in Minneapolis, MN 55402 and offers an hourly wage of USD 23 - 25.
