Job Description

Located onsite in El Paso, TX, this role focuses on stocking, cleaning, and inventorying in-room minibars while delivering privacy and luxury service.

Salary: USD 12 - 14 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily minibar service to assigned guest rooms in line with hotel standards.
  • Restock beverages, snacks, and amenities while applying proper product rotation (FIFO).
  • Record items consumed and ensure guest charges are posted accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of minibars, refrigerators, and adjacent guest room areas.
  • Inspect inventory for expired, damaged, or missing products and replace as needed.
  • Restock minibar carts and storage areas, keeping inventory organized.
  • Report maintenance concerns, damaged minibars, or guest room deficiencies to the appropriate department.
  • Assist with monthly inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, hotel security, and TABC regulations.
  • Maintain guest privacy and professionalism while servicing occupied guest rooms.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push a fully stocked minibar cart.
  • Weekend and holiday availability as business demands.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid TABC Seller-Server Certification (if required).

Job Purpose

As a Mini Bar Attendant at Hotel Paso Del Norte, you contribute to a luxury guest experience by ensuring in-room minibars are fully stocked, clean, organized, and accurately inventoried. You replenish food and beverage items, record guest consumption, maintain inventory controls, and verify that minibar products meet the hotel’s quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as business demands.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid TABC Seller-Server Certification (if required).
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push a fully stocked minibar cart.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, retail, food and beverage, housekeeping, or inventory control preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous hotel minibar, room service, housekeeping, or food and beverage experience.
  • Experience with inventory management and point-of-sale systems.
  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality service standards.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory counts and guest billing.
  • Time management and organizational abilities to service multiple rooms efficiently.
  • Integrity and accountability when handling guest room merchandise and charges.
