Responsibilities
- Protect guest and hotel information by maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Engage with guests to deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous service.
- Audit, balance, post, and report room charges to ensure accuracy and proper cash handling procedures.
- Audit, balance, post, and report phone charges to ensure accuracy and proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Audit, balance, post, and report zero balance folios to ensure accuracy and proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Audit, balance, post, and report corrections to ensure accuracy and proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Audit, balance, post, and report adjustments to ensure accuracy and proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Audit, balance, post, and report taxes to ensure accuracy and proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Audit, balance, post, and report disputed charges to ensure accuracy and proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Audit, balance, post, and report over/short figures to ensure accuracy and proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Audit, balance, post, and report deposits to ensure accuracy and proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Perform all Front Desk functions as needed, including check-ins, check-outs, telephone procedures, and wake-up calls.
- Adhere to proper cash handling and credit procedures and settle guest accounts according to Accounting standards.
- Cross-train in other Front Office related areas as required.
Requirements
- Associates Degree; or 3-5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Luxary hotel and/or luxury residence experience preferred.
- Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment preferred.
- Overnight manager experience preferred.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Opera PMS experience is a plus.
