Steward

Hotel Bel-Air is looking for a full-time, permanent Steward to support our Food & Beverage - Stewarding team onsite in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you help keep our culinary and banquet environments clean and guest-ready, while also supporting special occasion requests that make each stay feel seamless.

What you’ll do

• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, flatware, pots and pans, and prep areas throughout the day.
• Wash pots, pans, kitchen tools, and trays and keep kitchen workspaces in top condition.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, plus banquet service areas and hallways for the day to support guest experience.
• Fulfill guest special requests related to set up and other preparations for special occasions.
• Live the hotel values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together, and Creativity as part of the Stewarding team.
• Work across shifting needs typical of hospitality, including being present on the floor for guest-facing operations.

Schedule and physical requirements

You will regularly talk and hear. The role frequently requires you to walk and stand for up to 8 hours, with the ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and use hand, finger, and wrist dexterity. You may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus. You may also encounter extreme heat and cold depending on the work area.

Hotel Bel-Air operates with varying schedules, so employees are required to work weekends and holidays to accommodate business needs.

Compensation and benefits

Compensation: $32.15 per hour.
