Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent
Job Description
Delamar Greenwich is expanding its front desk team with a dual role that blends overnight audit duties with essential guest services. This onsite position requires hospitality experience and covers a mix of front desk shifts and night audit coverage, ensuring smooth operations through the night and into the day. The schedule includes three front desk shifts and two night audit shifts per week, with additional coverage during PTO as needed.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner.
- Manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and room assignments efficiently.
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails with courtesy and professionalism.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
- Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Issue room keys and explain hotel services and policies.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
- Make appropriate service recovery decisions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to provide seamless guest service.
- Complete daily administrative tasks, reports, and front office checklists.
- Perform nightly audit procedures by reconciling all daily financial transactions.
- Balance hotel revenue and prepare required accounting reports.
- Transmit credit card batches and prepare daily deposits.
- Reconcile room and reservation reports according to established procedures.
- Prepare morning reports for hotel management.
- Identify and report discrepancies or potential liabilities to the Front Office Manager.
- Serve as the hotel systems liaison during overnight hours.
- Contact IT Support and open support tickets when system issues occur.
- Follow all night audit checklists and operating procedures.
Requirements
- Previous night audit experience is required.
- Prior hotel front desk or hospitality experience is required.
- Opera PMS experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented, proactive, dependable, and flexible.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard and hotel property management systems throughout the shift.

Schedule & Availability
- 3 front desk shifts and 2 night audit shifts per week
- Available to cover additional overnight shifts during the Night Auditor’s PTO or absences
- Available to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and occasional holidays
