Front Office Supervisor

AC Hotel Bethesda is seeking a Front Office Supervisor for an on-site role in Bethesda, MD. Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out and support them throughout their stay
• Operate the hotel's electronic reservation system and other software to maintain a smooth workflow
• Process all financial transactions securely and accurately, including credit cards and cash
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively enhance the guest experience
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a hospitable, customer-focused environment
• Ensure accurate handling of reservations, check-in, check-out, and payments following credit card and cash procedures
• Maintain proficient administration of the electronic reservation system
• Maintain compliance with hotel safety programs and procedures, including emergency and security protocols
• Complete required daily reports and checklists in a timely manner

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a front desk or receptionist role
• Passion for working with people and a commitment to going above and beyond for guests
• Strong teamwork mindset and enjoyment of collaborative work
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• A proactive problem solver who identifies solutions to ensure the best guest experience

Physical requirements

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel requirements

This position would require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.
