Group Rooms Reservation Supervisor
Job Description
The Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel seeks a Group Rooms Reservation Supervisor to oversee group room reservations, coordinate block rooming and related billing, policies, and guest services to maximize revenue and ensure accurate processing.
Job Details
Location: Addison, TX onsite
Salary: USD 18 - 20 per hour
Responsibilities
- Assess guest reservation needs
- Select appropriate room type
- Check availability for the chosen room type and rate
- Explain guarantee policies to callers
- Explain special rate policies to callers
- Explain cancellation policies to callers
- Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue
- Communicate details of VIP reservations
- Address challenges in accommodating rooming requests by coordinating with the relevant department
- Ensure accuracy of room blocks and reservations
- Enter group rooming lists into reservation systems
- Adjust room blocks to maintain required availability
- Maintain organized files for all groups
- Establish billing accounts following Accounting policies
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Ensure uniform and professional appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Protect company assets
- Welcome and acknowledge guests per company standards
- Anticipate and respond to guest service needs
- Assist guests with disabilities
- Thank guests sincerely
- Communicate clearly with others
- Prepare and review written documents accurately
- Answer phones with proper etiquette
- Develop and sustain positive working relationships
- Support the team to reach shared goals
- Listen and respond appropriately to coworker concerns
- Comply with QA expectations
- Lead and verify information across formats
- Move and handle items up to 10 pounds without assistance
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by managers
