Hotel Sales Director
Job Description
GF Hotels and Resorts seeks an onsite Hotel Sales Director in Los Angeles, CA to lead sales strategy, train the sales team, collaborate with sales managers, and drive new and recurring hotel business.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate market data to shape methods for meeting financial targets, craft marketing plan deliverables, and prepare the annual sales forecast.
- Drive new revenue through a targeted outbound outreach program, leveraging personal contacts, local professionals, travel agencies, and other corporate groups.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to sustain high occupancy and profitability in coordination with department managers.
- Coordinate regular meetings with department heads, review weekly sales activity, and generate a monthly expense report for all sales-related costs.
- Implement a strategic plan aligned with revenue management and hotel objectives to help the sales team meet and exceed room-booking targets.
Requirements
- Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Minimum five years of sales experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated success in lead generation and deal closing.
- Strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and leadership skills.
- Hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
