Housekeeping Supervisor - Grand

The Housekeeping Supervisor at The Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane, WA (onsite) is responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping department. This role focuses on maintaining strong cleanliness standards while supporting an exceptional guest experience through team leadership, coordination of cleaning and laundry operations, and responsive service recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, public area maintenance, and laundry operations
• Train, motivate, and mentor the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service
• Conduct inspections to confirm adherence to cleanliness and quality standards
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest expectations and address operational issues
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating staff shifts
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards to support a healthy work environment

Required Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual is a plus
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Proficiency with housekeeping software and systems
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Compensation

Hourly rate: USD 18 per hourly.
